My girls and I recently spent the day at the park participating in special activities and events only available during NINJAGO Days, perfecting our ninja moves, meeting the NINJAGO characters and of course, battling the bad guys on NINJAGO The Ride in LEGO NINJAGO World.
Here’s a look at some of the activities we enjoyed during our time at LEGO NINJAGO Days –
Be On the Lookout for Master Wu
One of our favorite areas to explore at LEGOLAND Florida is Miniland USA – filled with fantastic city scenes, all made of LEGO bricks. From places around Florida, including the Kennedy Space Center to Las Vegas, Hollywood, California and Star Wars scenes, the attention to detail in the scenes is just incredible.
During LEGO NINJAGO Days, be on the lookout for Master Wu figurines hidden throughout Miniland USA – some are easy to find, others more difficult. Make your way over to the LEGO Studio store and fill out the entry form with the number of Master Wu’s you located and you could win a LEGO prize pack.
Watch the New LEGO NINJAGO 4D Movie
Tops on our ‘must do’ list for LEGO NINJAGO Days was to check out the brand new 4D movie, “LEGO NINJAGO: Master of the 4th Dimension”. At twelve minutes long, this movie can only be seen during LEGO NINJAGO Days, so you definitely don’t want to miss it! And because it is such a special event, make sure you arrive at the theater early for a good seat.
Lloyd and friends take on a new dimension in the movie and the audience is right in the middle of the fun with water effects, bubbles and plenty of laser lights incorporated into the show. My girls loved it so much that we actually saw it twice!
Meet LEGO NINJAGO Characters
There are also some great LEGO character meet and greets during LEGO NINJAGO Days, available on these special park days. Be sure to pick up the schedule of events as soon as you enter the park, so you don’t miss any of the fun.
You can meet Kai and Nya over in LEGO NINJAGO World, Lloyd from the LEGO NINJAGO movie over in the Warner Bros. Games Zone in the Imagination Zone. And for the first time ever, you can also meet Master Wu!
Since these meet and greet opportunities are rare and unique to LEGO NINJAGO Days, I’d suggest arriving a few minutes before the scheduled time, so you can beat the crowds.
Dine on Kid Sushi
For a fun break during your day, stop in at the coffee shop inside the Market Restaurant and try out the Kid Sushi snacks.
Made up of Rice Krispie treats, Swedish fish (yum!!), chocolate sauce for dipping and of course, a fortune cookie – it is a great snack for sharing together as a family. My girls really enjoyed trying their skills at using the chopsticks too.
Participate in Kid Ninjoga
Let your kiddos get the wiggles out and practice their best ninja skills during the Kid Ninjoga class held just outside the LEGO NINJAGO World. Held only once a day, this fun class lets kids relax and have fun learning new skills.
And parents, enjoy a bit of rest watching your kids learn from the Master Ninjas too!
Visit LEGO NINJAGO World
For the ultimate LEGO NINJAGO Days fun, make your way over to LEGO NINJAGO World and experience the interactive NINJAGO: The Ride, we had so much fun we rode it twice! Challenge family members to see who ends up with the high score in trying to defeat the bad guys.
LEGO NINJAGO World is also where you’ll find Kai and Nya meet and greets throughout the day. Save time in this area for the ninja training camp activities. With climbing activities, spinning stands and a great area for building LEGO creations, my girls always ask for extra time here during our visits.
