One of the many things I love about going to Walt Disney World is that every trip allows me to experience something new.
This past weekend, I went to my very first Cirque du Soliel show – La Nouba at Disney Springs (or Downtown Disney) and was blown away by the magic involved in this fantastic, theatrical circus performance.
Heartstopping Thrills
My heart may have skipped a few beats when the trapeze artists took to the skies for some pretty incredible maneuvers. I found myself gripping the seat cushions in fear and excitement that it was even physically possible for someone to complete these tricks.

Plenty of Laughs
No show is complete unless you’ve got clowns — and La Nouba’s clowns will keep you laughing. They help weave together the storyline of the show — and bring the laughs too. Be in your seats about 15 minutes before showtime and you’ll see more of their antics as they make their way through the audience.
Breathtaking Beauty
My favorite portion of the show featured the ariel ballet in the skies. With silk wraps, performers twisted, turned, flipping and danced through the air. Once again, I was clutching the edges of my seat, but this time trying to hold back the tears. It was just that beautiful.
Magic on Stage
In addition to the clowns and gymnasts, La Nouba features 65 performers for each show. It took me awhile to realize that the musicians are actually on the stage too – the entire show features all live music! The show’s featured singer, Selloane, performs numerous times during the show and she’s incredible.
The music, songs and performers are the total package for a truly magical show.

Located on the West Side of Downtown Disney/Disney Springs, the theater is next door to the House of Blues, a short walk from Wolfgang Puck Grand Cafe and easily accessible by the marketplace ferry boat and plenty of parking too.

It is an entertaining and thrilling show and I can’t wait to introduce my family to this wonderful show.
